Job Description Job Description Full Job Description Stratton Woodworks - We are a growing company manufacturing high-end custom cabinetry located in McKinney, TXlooking for top quality team members to join our team! Join Stratton Woodworks as Craftsman/Custom Cabinet Maker/Installer. In this role you will assist in the creation of custom wood cabinets following the shop drawings in various stages of the project. There is never a dull moment, as each cabinet is custom. Attention to detail, cabinet construction knowledge, professionalism and quick thinking are essential. Responsibilities: Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools including but not limited to table saws, drivers, drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and other wood-fastening equipment. Ensure products are assembled correctly for safety and purposeful use Read and interpret shop drawings Read and use tape measure Identify multiple species of wood Operate shop computers and software Move cabinets to next phase of construction Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience with woodworking/construction projects preferred Experience in manufacturing environment helpful Ability to read/interpret shop drawings and utilize/read tape measure Ability to lift large cabinets with assistance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred) Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: One location
