Title
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule
- Patient Ratios: Days 1:1; Nights 1:1
- Weekend Coverage: Required

Assignment Details
- Charting System: Epic (required)
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Pre-approved Time Off: 2 (per contract)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Valid state RN license in hand at submission
- Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced or NCC C-EFM, BLS, NRP
- Experience in labor and delivery care

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care during labor and delivery, including vaginal and C-section procedures.
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and interpret electronic fetal monitoring data.
- Support high-risk obstetrical management, including care during magnesium sulfate therapy and management of postpartum hemorrhage.
- Perform peripartum procedures, including sterile vaginal exams and cervical cerclage.
- Administer IVs and manage blood products safely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Strict compliance deadline for credentialing items
- Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after signing contract
