Team Leader - Packaging

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Team Leader for packaging operations at its Allentown facility. The role involves supervising 20-25 employees in clinical pharmaceutical manufacturing, applying GMP standards, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee 20-25 employees across multiple production lines in clinical pharmaceutical packaging operations
Coach, mentor, and develop staff while maintaining professional and approachable leadership
Serve as technical subject matter expert for assigned processes; communicate confidently with stakeholders
Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions to eliminate recurring problems
Measure and manage team, individual, and process performance against established goals

Requirements

Advanced degree plus 3 years pharmaceutical packaging experience, or bachelor's degree plus 5 years FDA-regulated industry experience
3+ years supervisory experience desired
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency reading, understanding, and adhering to GMP SOPs and policies
Experience leading teams of 10+ employees
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred
Legal authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
