Position Overview Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our clinic in Bellmead, located just 15 minutes from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. About The Role As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide same-day treatment for minor illnesses and injuries in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes advanced practice providers, medical assistants, on-site lab/phlebotomy and X-ray technicians, and pharmacy support. Key Responsibilities Provide acute care services for minor illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis Deliver efficient, evidence-based care with a focus on patient satisfaction Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers Coordinate with other providers in the system for referrals and follow-ups Participate in shared call responsibilities, triaged through a nurse line Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards Clinic & Schedule Highlights Walk-in clinic open evenings and weekends On-site X-ray, phlebotomy, and pharmacy No obstetrics; general family medicine procedures only Shared call coverage with nurse triage support 1.0 FTE with ½ day of weekly administrative time Why Bellmead, TX?
