Cost Accounting Intern

Assist with fiscal year-end activities and month-end closings Complete account reconciliations Assist in generating schedules for the fiscal year-end audit Review actual-to-budget results and provide explanations for variances Assist in setting standard product costs and analyzing changes Update transfer prices in SAP Assist with cost modeling and make/buy decisions Requirements In-process of a bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting or related field Highly organized and willing to learn end-to-end process improvement skills Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures Self-motivated, team player, detail oriented Able to meet required deadlines Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Good Microsoft Office skills Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SharePoint Good verbal and written communication skills Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Shure will not sponsor applicants for work visas Core Competencies Demonstrates strong accounting skills with a focus on fiscal year-end activities, account reconciliations, and cost modeling.
