Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician will support daily operations within a retail pharmacy setting, ensuring accurate medication preparation and efficient processing of prescriptions. This role requires strong attention to detail and effective communication skills to deliver excellent customer service and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare medications accurately following prescriptions
Manage inventory and stock levels
Provide customer service and answer inquiries
Process prescriptions efficiently and accurately
Enter data related to prescriptions and inventory
Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards
Perform regular maintenance on pharmacy equipment
Support billing and insurance processes
Communicate effectively with team members and healthcare professionals
Collaborate with team to improve pharmacy operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy area

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in pharmacy operations

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
