Northbound Executive Search
Our client is seeking a Tax Preparer to join their team:
Experience and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts—including CRATs and CRUTs—gift taxes, C- and S-corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and exempt organizations.
- Knowledge of foreign reporting requirements, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8938, and FinCEN 114.
- Preferred familiarity with CCH ProSystems and BNA Income Tax Planner for tax projections.
- Ability to communicate directly with clients regarding tax questions and matters related to their returns.
- Reviewing correspondence to the IRS and state tax authorities in response to notices.
- Strong technical tax knowledge; the firm is willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience, ideally within an accounting firm.
Focus: Preparation and review of returns, with approximately 75–80% of the role focused on preparation.
