Pharmacy Technician Instructor

Instructor, Pharmacy, Adjunct, Non Tenure Track, (POOL POSTING)We are accepting applications for adjunct Instructor of Pharmacy positions. The positions are part-time, intermittent, fixed term appointments to cover potential teaching needs on our Athens, OH, Cleveland, OH or Dublin, OH campuses. The need for teaching in this specialty is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational and instructional needs. If a need arises during academic years 2025-2026 and/or 2026-2027, applicants in this pool will be considered. Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis through 6/30/2027. Additionally, you will be prompted to key-in contact information for three reference letter providers.This position is eligible for the following benefits: - sick leave and retirement.Position Description: The Heritage College is seeking applications for adjunct Instructors of Pharmacy to participate in the delivery of our integrated medical curriculum on our Athens, Cleveland, or Dublin, Ohio Campuses on an as needed basis. Selected instructors will join a diverse group of faculty in the Department of Primary Care, allowing the opportunity to gain training and expertise in additional disciplines. Potential Primary Responsibilities (on an as needed basis):· Teach pharmacology content in an integrative team-based teaching and learning environment, including which includes large group interactive learning sessions· Collaborate closely with faculty members across the three Heritage College campuses to develop and lead curricular content (i.e., learning objectives, team-based learning sessions, resources, assessments) in a timely manner· Participate in small group coaching and mentoring of osteopathic medical students· Provide service to the college such as interviewing prospective candidates for admissions to the Heritage College, participating in college-planned outreach activities, serving as faculty representative to a student organization(s), etc.Minimum Qualifications - · Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD)· Teaching experience in health sciences academic environmentPay Rate - Pay is commensurate with education and experience, while also considering internal equity and is accompanied by an excellent retirement plan with up to a 14% company contribution, paid sick leave, and access to professional development programs.
