About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; can consider under 2 years depending on experience. License: Active RN License required; pending licenses not accepted. Certifications: Must have ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP. Must-Have: Must have expertise in performing sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision. Description: Labor and Delivery nursing position available. Candidates must have expert experience in labor and delivery. Sterile vaginal exams and triage skills are hard stop requirements. Experience with the specified charting system is required. Scheduling preferences can be considered but are not guaranteed. Candidates must be open to working weekends, possibly exceeding every other weekend to meet unit needs. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are encouraged to apply. First-time travelers are accepted. Floating between like units is required. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Guaranteed hours are provided, with the facility having the option to call off one shift per two-week pay period.
