INVESTIGATIVE PRODUCER/ PARALEGAL 

Full-Time Position 

Location:  1951 Richmond Avenue  

Dolcefino Communications, LLC seeks another critical addition to our expanding social media investigative operation. This employee will manage multiple requests for public records, which are critical to our investigations of fraud, public corruption, and courthouse injustice. We often take legal action or pursue criminal remedies to ensure compliance with state and federal transparency laws across the country. 

This employee will also be part of the team analyzing court documents, brief writing, and other litigation, undercover and media support roles in the preparation of broadcasts on our multiple social media platforms.  This is the perfect job for a paralegal, private investigator with law firm experience, a law school student with a thirst for work on investigative media projects and litigation support or someone who has been a reporter or producer in a television or newspaper investigative operation with prior knowledge of the process for securing public records.

The President of Dolcefino Communications is Wayne Dolcefino, a 30-time Emmy Award-Winning investigative journalist formerly with Houston’s ABC13. Dolcefino Media and Dolcefino Consulting are an extremely fast-paced 24-hour workplace environment, so we need a candidate who will thrive in a company known for its frank and aggressive posture. 

Responsibilities:  

• Conduct legal and investigative research for potential broadcast 
• Perform analysis of legal documents 
• Review and analyze public records 
• Draft responses to requests to withhold records under the Texas Public Information Act 
• Assist in the creation of complaints filed with various state agencies.  
• Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently  
• Think strategically and demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  

 Minimum Qualifications:  

• Preferred candidates: 
• Paralegal education, certificate 
• Private investigative Experience 
• Investigative Media Experience 

Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
