Job Details: Job Location: 10300 VILLAGE CIR DR - PALOS PARK, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $80000.00 - $90000.00Salary/year, Travel Percentage: Negligible, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Health Care, Job Purpose: The Wellness Nurse-RN at PEACE VILLAGE is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves coordinating with healthcare professionals, managing patient care plans, and implementing nursing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the nursing team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care. Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and other medical staff. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve desired health outcomes. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and effective care environment. Conduct regular training and development sessions for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes. Manage nursing schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet patient care needs. Address patient and family concerns, providing information and support to ensure a positive care experience. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures. Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care, preferably in a leadership role. Experience in geriatric care or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Proven track record of managing nursing teams and coordinating patient care effectively. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and develop nursing staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology. Ability to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
