Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager

As a Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN-Unit Manager, you will play a key leadership role on our clinical team—overseeing daily operations, supporting and mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Schedule & Benefits: Schedule: Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health, dental, vision and paid time off (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement for eligible employees Career growth and advancement opportunities Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Qualifications Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred Prior experience managing staff is preferred Computer Knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC) software Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Responsibilities Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care Conduct nursing rounds on all units' multiple times throughout the shift Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator Complete Care at Holiday City is an equal opportunity employer.
