What You'll Do:
- Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment to identify mechanical issues before they become bigger problems.
- Diagnose and repair automotive, trailer, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using professional tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Repair or replace worn and damaged components with a focus on quality and reliability.
- Complete tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and other routine maintenance.
- Repair electrical components and solder connections when needed.
- Maintain organized service records and document completed repairs.
- Work closely with the operations team to keep equipment field-ready and minimize downtime.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or equipment technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop effective repair solutions.
- Comfortable using power tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic technology.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working in various shop conditions.
- Someone who takes ownership of their work and pays close attention to detail.
- Dependable, accountable, and committed to doing the job right the first time.
- A team player who communicates well and is always willing to lend a hand.
