Details Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 167-bed acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center status Serves patients of all ages Uses GE equipment Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, working 7 days on/7 days off On-call requirements as needed, including possible weekend callback No floating required Requirements Minimum of 5 years of Cath Lab tech experience required BLS and RT certification required RCIS certificate or RT degree required License required if applicable for Cath Lab Tech role in TN AHA certifications required Skilled in scrubbing and monitoring cases Experience transporting patients and assisting in workup and recovery preferred Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start Social security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring cases, transporting patients, assisting in workup and recovery, and stocking the department Common procedures include cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker placements, permacaths, ports, and vascular leg cases Team environment supported by a Director of the Cardiovascular Lab Ideal candidates are outgoing and strong team players Facility provides scrubs; casual wear and other facility-branded clothing are not permitted Weekly orientation held on Mondays Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate Previous perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment Weekend coverage required every other weekend American Traveler Job ID P-733831.
