Job Summary:
This medical surgical oncology floor nursing position is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves providing hematology and oncology care, including coordinating patient care, obtaining authorization for PET scans, responding to patient questions, and handling medication renewals and FMLA paperwork. Candidates are required to bring their Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of work. The shift schedule is 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Job Details:

• Location: Boston, MA
• Schedule: 10 hours daily, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts RN license required and must be in hand at the time of submission; minimum of 2 years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); experience with hematology care and coordinating care; heavy triage experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hematology care and coordinating patient care; experience with authorization processes for imaging and medication needs; familiarity with FMLA paperwork handling.
• Additional Information: Heavy triage experience required; position involves clinical and administrative responsibilities related to hematology and oncology patients.
• Submission Requirements: BILH coversheet required at time of submission; candidates must have their license in hand at submission and provide available dates and times for interview; all requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at time of submission.
• Travel & Float: No travel required; float rotation not expected.
• Experience: 0 years (minimum experience noted is 0, but the candidate must meet the detailed experience requirements above).
