They seek an Accounting Policy Professional to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesResearch complex accounting issues and provide technical guidance for transactions, new business initiatives, acquisitions, and strategic projectsPrepare accounting memoranda, technical analyses, and executive-level presentations documenting accounting conclusions and supporting guidanceDevelop, maintain, and implement accounting policies while ensuring consistent application across the organizationEvaluate proposed transactions, contracts, and business arrangements to determine the appropriate accounting treatment under applicable accounting standardsPerform consolidation assessments for new and existing legal entities and document related accounting conclusionsMonitor new accounting pronouncements and lead the implementation of updated accounting standards and reporting requirementsPartner with Finance, Legal, Tax, and business teams to provide technical accounting support for ongoing operations and strategic initiativesSupport the preparation and review of SEC filings, including quarterly and annual financial reporting disclosuresCoordinate with internal and external auditors by providing technical accounting documentation and audit supportIdentify opportunities to enhance accounting policies, strengthen internal controls, and improve financial reporting processesRequirements8+ years of experience with strong US GAAP technical accounting expertiseExperience with ASC 323, ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 805, ASC 810, ASC 820Insurance (LDTI) a plusFinancial services industry requiredTagged as: Hybrid Remote/OfficeDate Posted:Posted on August 6, 2026Location:New York, NY, USAJob Title:Accounting PolicySalary:$170,000 - $300,000
