Opportunity Highlights Schedule: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 24-hour shifts available; Day shifts required; Weeknight on-call (pager) required; Weekend on-call (pager) required; Holiday shifts and call preferred; As-needed shifts preferred Job Setting: 6 anesthesia rooms; MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio; MDs also performing their own cases; Charting via Epic Types of Cases: General, Orthopedic, Endoscopy, Gynecology, Vascular, Plastics; No heads, hearts, or pediatric cases Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe: 90 days Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification required Certifications: ECFMG and FLEX; Completion of approved residency in Anesthesia Licensure: Currently licensed as a Physician in Pennsylvania; Candidates needing to obtain state licensure will not be considered About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
