Evening/Weekend Receptionist

STATUS/HOURS: Part Time; Up to 28 weekly hours
DEPARTMENT: Admissions
REPORTS TO: Market Director of Admissions
Please note:

Work schedule will be determined in collaboration with the Market Director of Admissions. Weekday hours to include 3pm-8pm Mondays-Thursdays. Saturday hours typically 9am-1pm, with extended Saturday hours during peak enrollment periods.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing multiline telephone system, greeting visitors, handling incoming/outgoing mail, and performing routine clerical tasks for the admissions department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer and direct calls

Keeps track of daily inquiry log

Responsible for retrieving & routing voice mail messages

Greets and assists visitors

Directs visitors to appropriate staff member or location

Comfortable with making and receiving calls to all of the B&SC student population as needs arise

Able to manage multiple calendars and appointments across different departments

Prepares other correspondence as needed

Supports the Admissions, Financial Aid, and Academic Advising Departments

Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ability to meet and communicate effectively with students and visitors

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all associates

Requires good planning, organizing, and communication skills

Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

EDUCATION

Associates degree from an accredited college preferred.
