Requirements:Specialty: OB/GYNEducation: MD/DOLicense: AlabamaCertifications: BE/BCFacility Details:Details of the Opportunity: Seeking OB/GYN Physician to work in a 344 bed tertiary hospital setting.Type of EMR utilized: Athena (clinic), Altera Paragon (hospital) integrated EMR system between clinic and hospital including imaging. Clinic Details/Practice Support:Administrative Support Staff Each Physician has a Nurse or MA that works with them on their shift.Schedule/Volume: Expected Schedule: 8-4:30 Monday to Thursday and 8-12 FridayAverage Caseload: 20-25 patients/dayPatient Population: All agesAverage total month for deliveries: 45-50 for total group OB services to Gyn services: 50/50Hospital Details:Surgeries scheduled as needed and block timeBoth, but eligible for block time after 6 monthsSurgical Robotics availableLevel 2 Nursey, more specialty care2 infant ventilationsWill stabilize, but if requires more than a few hours, the patient will go to higher care.No Midwives or Laborists currentlyCall: Each doc chooses to take their own practice call, but the others will cover at any time. For example, you can say I only want to take 5 days of my own practice call this month and the partners will take it. This probably needs to be a discussion. Hospital Call/ER Call?
