Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis for a manufacturing operation. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders to drive financial performance, improve cost accuracy, support strategic initiatives, and provide actionable insights that influence key business decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning, forecasting, month-end close, and profit plan analysis. Partner with manufacturing and department managers to monitor budgets and financial performance. Develop business case analyses, ROI calculations, and capital investment justifications. Support commercial teams with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting. Analyze conversion costs, including fixed and variable manufacturing expenses. Track productivity savings and key performance indicators (KPIs) through continuous improvement initiatives. Review labor and benefit costs against budget and operational plans. Maintain standard costing accuracy and analyze manufacturing variances. Support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Cost Deployment (CD) initiatives. Ensure compliance with SOX controls, financial policies, and internal procedures. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and BlackLine account reconciliations. Prepare financial models, reports, and presentations for leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or manufacturing finance. 3+ years of experience using SAP Financial modules. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting. Experience analyzing manufacturing costs and operational performance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing leadership and senior management. Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Cost Deployment (CD) methodologies. Experience developing dashboards and performing data analytics. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities. Experience preparing capital expenditure business cases and financial justifications.
