Warehouse Supervisor
Anchor Talent has partnered with a global equipment manufacturer to identify two warehouse supervisors for a large distribution operation in North Dallas.
This role will lead a team of approximately 15-30 warehouse associates and be responsible for daily warehouse operations, safety, productivity, and service levels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance people leadership with operational execution in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15-30 warehouse employees across daily distribution center operations
- Drive safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational compliance standards throughout the facility
- Monitor daily workflow, staffing levels, and productivity to ensure shipping and customer service targets are met
- Allocate labor resources based on workload demands, priorities, and material availability
- Partner with warehouse leadership to improve processes, throughput, and operational efficiency
- Address employee performance issues, provide coaching, and support corrective action when necessary
- Identify operational bottlenecks and quickly resolve disruptions impacting material flow or customer deliveries
- Coordinate with transportation, customer service, inventory, and warehouse teams to support service objectives
- Support emergency response, escalation management, and facility safety initiatives as needed
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional weekend support during operational or business-critical events
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics operations
- Prior experience leading warehouse teams in a supervisor or lead capacity
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation processes
- Experience with Manhattan WMS is highly preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and employee development skills
- Associate degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $80,000 - $85,000
- Annual bonus opportunity
- First shift schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
