Warehouse Supervisor

Anchor Talent has partnered with a global equipment manufacturer to identify two warehouse supervisors for a large distribution operation in North Dallas.

This role will lead a team of approximately 15-30 warehouse associates and be responsible for daily warehouse operations, safety, productivity, and service levels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance people leadership with operational execution in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15-30 warehouse employees across daily distribution center operations
Drive safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational compliance standards throughout the facility
Monitor daily workflow, staffing levels, and productivity to ensure shipping and customer service targets are met
Allocate labor resources based on workload demands, priorities, and material availability
Partner with warehouse leadership to improve processes, throughput, and operational efficiency
Address employee performance issues, provide coaching, and support corrective action when necessary
Identify operational bottlenecks and quickly resolve disruptions impacting material flow or customer deliveries
Coordinate with transportation, customer service, inventory, and warehouse teams to support service objectives
Support emergency response, escalation management, and facility safety initiatives as needed
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional weekend support during operational or business-critical events

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics operations
Prior experience leading warehouse teams in a supervisor or lead capacity
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation processes
Experience with Manhattan WMS is highly preferred
Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and employee development skills
Associate degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $80,000 - $85,000
Annual bonus opportunity
First shift schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Additional compensation available for on-call and weekend coverage
