Schochet is currently hiring a Leasing ConsultantCountry Glen Apartments is a 300+ unit market-rate apartment community located in Groton, CT.Key Responsibilities:Show available apartment units to prospective residents and process move-insConduct resident orientations and unit inspectionsDevelop and implement sales and marketing strategiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of property offerings and competitorsPrepare brochures and marketing materials for potential rentersSupport the Property Manager with office tasks such as answering phones, filing, creating newsletters, logging maintenance issues, and assisting residentsHandle paperwork for prospective and current residentsWhat We’re Looking For:Prior leasing and sales experience requiredStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsMotivated self-starter who can work independently and in a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office and ExcelExcellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to maintain confidentiality and stay composed under pressureWork Schedule:Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMThursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PMSaturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PMWhy Schochet?For more than 50 years, Schochet has built a culture centered on professional growth, collaboration, and long-term employee relationships.
