About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Provider Enrollment and Credentialing. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all provider credentialing, privileging, and payer enrollment functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization maintains a high-performing, compliant, and scalable infrastructure to support the accurate and efficient credentialing and enrollment of providers with government and commercial payers. The AVP will lead a multi-site or system-level team, serve as the subject matter expert on credentialing and enrollment, and advise senior executives on the operational and compliance implications of various business activities. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field, or 7 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 12 years in provider credentialing, medical staff services, and/or payer enrollment, including 5-8 years in a leadership capacity. The role requires a deep understanding of NCQA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards, as well as experience in overseeing payer enrollment processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading through accreditation survey cycles, managing a large team, and driving automation and technology adoption to improve operational efficiency. Strong executive presence, relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate a highly regulated, fast-changing environment are essential.
