Tax Accountant

Our client, a well-established CPA firm serving businesses and nonprofits across Alabama, is looking for a Tax Seniorto take the reins on a diverse book of work — and step into a genuine path to partner along the way. Benefits & Extras Annual raises, with a bonus structure built around your ramp-up Hybrid schedule — one day a week from home Busy season structure: 40 hrs through mid-Feb, capping at 60 hrs through May, no mandatory Saturdays except filing deadlines Accelerated path to partner Compensation $100K+ What You’ll Be Doing Managing a book of S-Corp, partnership, individual, and small business tax returns Handling nonprofit tax work, including Form 990s Working directly with clients with full autonomy Using BlueJ, the firm’s AI-powered tax software (training provided) Potentially stepping into leadership of the Auburn office’s Tax division over time What You’ll Need to be Considered CPA license Experience with nonprofit tax returns (Form 990) is a big plus Familiarity with BlueJ or CCH Axcess for Tax is a plus Comfortable owning a book of business with minimal oversight #J-18808-Ljbffr
