Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Southeast Colorado, working days with occasional Saturdays across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, Alzheimer's, and home health settings.
Details
- Day shift with occasional Saturday coverage required
- Diverse clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, Alzheimer's unit, and home health
- Caseload spans screenings and evaluations through discharge planning
- Active collaboration with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
Requirements
- Current, active CO Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Entry-level candidates considered; no minimum experience required
Additional Information
- Responsible for screening, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning across all assigned clinical settings
- Communicates with physicians and rehabilitation team members regarding treatment plans and patient progress
- Provides patient and family counseling based on degree of disability or impairment
- Completes all required billing documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Participates in educational programs, in-service meetings, and quality assurance initiatives
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
