A growing software company in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Accountant for a temporary assignment supporting their corporate finance team. This role will report directly to the Controller and work closely with the CFO. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle accounting experience and a public accounting background.
Compensation: up to $115,000.
\n Key Responsibilities:- Perform day-to-day corporate accounting functions
- Prepare and post journal entries (JE’s)
- Review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Assist with tax-related processes and filings
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Help maintain accurate financial records and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or equivalent) required
- 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
