Job Overview

The HR Talent Sourcer will support the hospital’s talent acquisition team by identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates for clinical, non-clinical, administrative, and support roles. This position plays a key role in strengthening the hospital’s ability to attract top talent, improve time-to-fill, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and candidate profiles.
• Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, resume databases, and other sourcing channels.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-volume hospital roles, including nursing, allied health, administrative, and operational positions.
• Screen candidate profiles for relevant experience, qualifications, licensure, certifications, and alignment with hospital needs.
• Conduct initial outreach to prospective candidates and communicate the hospital’s employment brand, culture, and career opportunities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Support recruitment campaigns, hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
• Track sourcing metrics and provide updates on candidate pipeline activity, market trends, and sourcing effectiveness.
• Ensure all sourcing and candidate engagement activities follow employment laws, hospital policies, and confidentiality standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in recruiting, sourcing, HR, staffing, customer service, or a related administrative role preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, Workday, resume databases, LinkedIn, job boards, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Preferred Experience

•  Experience sourcing candidates in a hospital, healthcare system, medical staffing agency, or clinical environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare roles, licensure requirements, certifications, and credentialing processes.
• Experience supporting high-volume recruitment or hard-to-fill healthcare positions.
• Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and proactive sourcing strategies.
