What You'll Do

• Conduct patient evaluations for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Design and update individualized care plans
• Administer treatments including bedside swallow studies and diet recommendations
• Provide outpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions for adult patients
• Document progress and communicate findings to physicians
• Participate in patient care teams, case conferences, and community education activities
• Keep current with advancements in speech and swallowing therapies

What You Need

• Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license or equivalent
• Experience working with adult inpatient and outpatient populations
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Prior experience with inpatient bedside assessments and outpatient therapy
