Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule: 12 hr nights

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72-80 working hours every two weeks

Requirements:
- Current Hawaii License
- Labor and Delivery experience
- Couple care experience
- Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring skills

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery and Nursery units.
- Monitor and assess fetal and maternal health during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and infant care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Reference checks should be sent via email. Do not call for reference checks.
- When assigned to charge nurse duties, an additional $2.00/hr. will be compensated.
- May float to assist other departments but not as a primary nurse.
