Transplant and Cellular Therapy / Oncology Nurse specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) is sought for a 13-week contract on a day shift in an organization located in Austin, Texas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a dedicated outpatient clinic setting that handles infusions, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood product transfusions. The role offers an opportunity to work with a collaborative team in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details

- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift
- Schedule: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Target Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Position Count: 1 or 2 openings
- Certifications and Experience: Valid nursing license, 3 years of clinical experience, and up-to-date ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification are required. Preferred candidates will have outpatient clinic experience, Blood and Marrow Transplant Certification (BMTCN/OCN), and familiarity with infusion pumps and Meditech electronic medical record system.
- Unit Profile:
- 15 beds / clinic rooms
- Staff includes charge nurses, RNs, PCTs, schedulers, and social workers
- Patient ratio of 6-8 patients per day
- Infusions, chemotherapy, IVIG, blood product transfusions are typical procedures performed on the unit
- Personnel: Small team environment emphasizing teamwork and close relationships
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs top and bottoms; specific dress code requirements and dress code policies apply
- Additional Information: The unit is part of a regional Sarah Cannon Network, offering access to advanced equipment and a highly experienced staff. The environment is focused on collaborative care with a strong team-oriented culture.
