Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX. What You Will Do Provide technical support on major programs and interface with Lead. Mechanical Engineers and Chief Engineers to support design objectives. Contribute to project teams through design development and ensure that established procedures are followed in the creation of technical data packages, while meeting program design objectives. Work from requirements to help develop unit design concepts and perform design trades. Contribute to developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems. Complete detailed layouts and design documentation using Computer Aided Design tools. Provide support to suppliers who fabricate components and assemblies. Qualifications You Must Have Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering Science, Physics, Math, or related (STEM) major obtained by start date. Experience with CREO Experience with 3D solid modeling software. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances) Experience with RF principles, RF circuit card design, RF materials, manufacturing and producibility. Experience with high-frequency environments, enclosure design, EMI shielding, cable design and thermal management. Experience with manufacturing processes for CCAs, metal housings, and brazements, or experience in manufacturing and assembly support. Relocation Eligibility Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
