Welcome to the Melisa McMillian Adrian Agency! We are a friendly, community-focused team based in the heart of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and we are looking for a bright, positive individual to join us as our new Receptionist. This role is truly the heartbeat of our office; you will be the first person our clients see and the voice they hear when they call. Responsibilities

Warmly greet every person who walks through our doors, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they arrive.

Manage our primary phone line by directing inquiries to the right team members and taking clear, helpful messages.

Organize incoming mail and deliveries to ensure everything reaches its destination promptly.

Assist with preparing office documents, filing paperwork, and keeping our front desk area tidy and organized.

Coordinate appointments and maintain our office calendar to ensure everyone stays on schedule.

Support our agents with light administrative tasks that keep the daily workflow moving smoothly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong comfort with basic office software, such as email, word processing, and digital filing systems.

Polite and professional phone etiquette.

Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.

Dependability and punctuality.

Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role is helpful but not mandatory.
