Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial glass products. This role requires a strong understanding of various installation techniques, as well as proficiency with hand tools and power tools. The Glass Installer will work closely with clients to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Candidates without 5 years of commercial glazing experience will not be considered.
Rate of pay will vary with experience.

Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install commercial glazing systems such as storefront, curtainwall, punched openings, and re-glazed windows.
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using appropriate tools.
- Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning and caulking, as necessary.
- Assemble frames and install glass panels securely.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on glass options.
- Perform routine maintenance on installed glass products to ensure longevity and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial glazing is mandatory (5+ years)
- Proficiency in caulking techniques to ensure proper sealing of installations.
- Ability to build custom frames or supports as needed for specific projects using hand tools or power tools.
- Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus.
