BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community in Baltimore, MD 21205 . Position Summary

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the community. This role requires a hands-on professional who can efficiently complete service requests, assist with apartment turns, and perform preventative maintenance while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and contribute positively to the maintenance team.

Compensation

• $23.00 per hour
• Weekly pay through BG Staffing

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns
• Perform painting, drywall repairs, fixture replacements, and minor renovations
• Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Maintain common areas, amenities, and building exteriors
• Ensure work is completed safely and according to property standards
• Communicate professionally with residents, management, and fellow team members
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive living environment

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
• Experience with apartment turns and make-readies
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and perform repairs efficiently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and materials as required
