The facility is a certified chest pain center with a Level 3 trauma designation. The unit consists of 40 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Equipment used includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, and drug dispensing cabinets. The electronic health record system utilized is Medhost. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common patient conditions include total joint patients, surgical patients, and acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF and CKD. Seeking individuals who are compassionate, possess a positive outlook, and have a can-do attitude. Preceptor and charge experience is a plus. Floating to other units in the facility is an expectation.
