Study tasks include: Signal Warrants, Traffic Impact Studies, Signal Timing, Intersection Capacity/Level of Service Analysis and writing reports for these tasks. Design tasks include: Signal Design, Signing and Pavement Markings, Illumination, ITS, Traffic Control Plans, and the preparation of PS&E for these tasks. Qualifications Familiarity with all applicable AASHTO, TMUTCD, TxDOT local County and municipal criteria as it relates to Traffic Engineering. Experience in MicroStation, Synchro, SignCAD, AGI 32 (Lighting), and Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc Professional demeanor, reliability and desirable verbal and written communication skills. E.I.T. certification is required TEDSI may be willing to sponsor a foreign applicant for worker’s VISA (H1-B) and Permanent Resident Card.
