Position Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Texoma Medical Center (Denison, TX) Texoma Medical Center is an acute‑care hospital located in Denison, Texas, just north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Responsibilities The COO provides day‑to‑day operations of the hospital, implements the CEO and corporation strategy, and manages hospital departments to maximize quality of service and financial performance. Direct quality operations to maximize ROI and community reputation. Enhance revenues and income before inter‑company allocations, maintain or reduce the bad debt rate, achieve margin targets, and implement cost controls in staffing, supplies, and services. Develop and deliver community‑focused quality programs, ensuring all employees are committed to quality and service. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Business, Health Administration, or a closely related field. Organized and capable of managing multiple diverse departments. Detail oriented with focus on nuances of hospital operations and strong communication with employees and vendors. Ability to motivate, inspire, and communicate with individuals and groups. Knowledge of financial implications of decisions, including budgeting and forecasting.
