Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP MDG & MDM Consultant on behalf of our client in Remote, with occasional travel to Canada. This role will support a large-scale Master Data Governance initiative and will be responsible for driving master data governance processes, stakeholder engagement, solution design validation, testing, deployment readiness, and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP MDG and Master Data Management, along with strong business process and governance experience.

Key Responsibilities

Access & Security Support

• Support SAP MDG, MDM, and SAP system access management.

• Manage user roles, permissions, and authorization requirements.

• Assist with access governance, approval workflows, and authorization reviews.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.

• Facilitate fit-to-standard discussions and process alignment.

• Define field-level requirements, validations, dependencies, and business rules.

• Provide guidance during workshops and design review sessions.

Design & Solution Validation

• Review and validate business process designs and future-state workflows.

• Ensure governance processes align with business and compliance objectives.

• Confirm roles, responsibilities, and approval structures.

Build & Configuration Support

• Support the development and configuration of workflows, validation controls, and user interfaces.

• Participate in system configuration reviews and functional testing activities.

• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) scenarios and document results.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and test data.

• Validate testing outcomes against business requirements.

• Support defect identification, triage, tracking, and resolution.

• Participate in SIT validation and issue clarification activities.

Deployment & Hypercare Support

• Support deployment planning, cutover validation, and go-live readiness activities.

• Participate in business readiness assessments.

• Assist with post-deployment stabilization and hypercare support.

• Perform system handover and operational readiness checks.

Change Management & Governance

• Provide project status updates and governance inputs.

• Support change request reviews and approvals.

• Assist with stakeholder communication and change management initiatives.

• Escalate risks, issues, and decisions when appropriate.

Training Support (Preferred)

• Review training materials and user documentation.

• Participate in train-the-trainer sessions.

• Support end-user and administrator training readiness activities.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) .

• 10+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) administration and governance.

• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality, and master data lifecycle management.

• Experience supporting end-to-end project lifecycles including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

• Hands-on experience with workflow configuration, validation rules, and governance processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Fuse (0-2 years preferred).

• SAP S/4HANA MDG implementation experience.

• Experience working within large enterprise or global transformation programs.

• Knowledge of Customer, Vendor, Material, and Business Partner master data domains.
