Key Qualifications:

• Valid, active California mild/moderate education specialist credential is required.
• Experience working in special education settings, particularly with elementary-aged students with extensive support needs.

• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to 2nd and 3rd grade students with extensive support needs.
• Collaborate with general education staff and other specialists to adapt curriculum and instructional methods.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to parents and team members.
• Create and maintain an engaging, structured classroom environment.
