CT Technologist

Unit Information

Location: Richmond, VA

Number of Beds: 2 scanners (GE and Phillips)
Number of Staff: 7 Full-Time, 3 PRN
Patient Ratios: 80-100 scans per day
Type of Equipment: GE & Phillips
EMR: Meditech/ GE Centricity Pacs

Job Responsibilities

Perform various CT procedures including Abdomen/Pelvis, biopsies, heads, spines, brains, chest, and CT Angiograms (CTA).
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality imaging services.
Maintain and operate CT equipment effectively and safely.
Document all images and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Current CT registry and previous CT experience.
Active Virginia State License.

Preferred Skills: Experience with GE or Phillips equipment is preferred.

Required Certifications

ARRT - CT Certification

Dress Code

Scrub color: Navy

Work Schedule

Weekend shifts consist of two 12-hour shifts.
24-hour weekend call required.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience is required.
