Phlebotomist

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Canyon, TX (79015). Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (additional hours/rotating Saturdays may be requested as needed). Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other screenings. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications One or more years’ phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment. Six months or more experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric – geriatric). Current or prior LabCorp experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
