Senior Scrum MasterGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.As a senior-level Scrum Master, you will support approximately two Scrum teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on, experienced professional, preferably with a background working with middleware and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, deep Agile/Scrum expertise, and a coaching mindset to build high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Serve as an experienced, hands-on Scrum Master supporting approximately two Scrum teams simultaneously within a portfolio of Shared Integration Services initiativesLead, facilitate, and guide Scrum teams through Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Scrum of ScrumsHelp teams identify problems, remove impediments, and apply critical-thinking skills to develop creative, practical solutionsCoach teams toward higher levels of maturity and performanceDrive Agile transformation, continuous improvement, and adoption of Agile values, principles, and Lean practices across teamsBuild and foster high-performing, collaborative, self-organizing teams while promoting accountability, transparency, ownership, and continuous learningSupport multiple concurrent initiatives and effectively prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environmentPartner closely with Middleware, Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, and Technology teams to coordinate dependencies and delivery activitiesClearly and concisely communicate with stakeholders across the Agile Release Train (ART), Product Owners, business partners, Technology teams, and senior leadershipBuild strong relationships with Product Owners and stakeholders while managing expectations, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitmentsFacilitate impediment resolution in a timely and cost-effective manner, escalating issues when appropriateWork with teams and Product Owners to develop release plans, roadmaps, sprint goals, and backlog prioritiesConduct working sessions for requirements gathering, planning, dependency management, and solution alignmentProvide technical leadership and facilitate collaboration with engineering teams during solution design and developmentTranslate business and functional requirements into terminology and actionable information that technical team members can understand and executeSupport delivery governance, metrics, reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement activitiesDemonstrate strong ownership and independence, proactively managing work with minimal direction while balancing multiple prioritiesRequirements:7-10 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience, with a proven track record of leading Agile delivery teamsSAFe Certified Scrum Master with strong understanding of the SAFe framework, roles, responsibilities, ceremonies, operating principles, and Agile Release Train practicesStrong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, Kanban, Lean concepts, and Agile values and principlesDemonstrated experience coaching Agile teams, improving team maturity, and building high-performing teamsProven ability to drive Agile transformation, continuous improvement, process optimization, and adoption of Agile best practicesStrong experience with Jira and Confluence and the Atlassian product suiteBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, modern engineering practices, and software development lifecyclesStrong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Product Owners, business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadershipExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple Scrum teams, initiatives, priorities, and competing demands simultaneouslyStrong coaching mindset with the ability to mentor teams, encourage ownership, resolve conflicts, and improve team effectivenessExperience working with middleware and engineering teams, preferably within cloud-based or enterprise integration environmentsStrong problem-solving, facilitation, critical-thinking, and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently with minimal direction while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvementPrior banking or financial services experience strongly preferredDesired Skills:5+ years of experience as a Scrum of Scrums Master or equivalent experience coordinating multiple Agile teamsDemonstrated technical acumen and ability to effectively partner with engineering and architecture teamsExperience working with middleware, integration platforms, APIs, cloud-based technologies, and modern engineering practicesExperience with browser-based technologies and enterprise application environmentsDomain knowledge of Consumer Card, Deposit, and/or Wealth productsExperience working within large-scale banking or financial services technology organizationsStrong understanding of release planning, roadmaps, backlog management, dependencies, and cross-team coordinationAbility to effectively context switch between multiple teams, initiatives, stakeholders, and priorities while maintaining delivery focusPay range: $63.94 -
