Practice Setting

• Mix of rural and community EDs (16-36 beds)
• Level 3 trauma center at one site
• APP support varies by location
• EPIC EMR

Schedule

• 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts; must be open to nights
• Must be able to float between sites
• Consistent coverage available through year-end

Cases and Procedures

• Bread-and-butter emergency medicine
• Age 2 and up; adult and pediatric mix
• No trauma-level emergencies

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only)
• Active South Carolina license
• ACLS and BLS required

Travel Accommodations
