Job Title: Full Time Phlebotomist

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Compensation: DOE

Days: 5 days a week

About the position

Beyond Wellness is looking for a Full Time Phlebotomist with a functional wellness background. 

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection with accuracy and professionalism

• Properly process, label, package, and prepare specimens for shipment according to laboratory requirements

• Ensure all specimens meet quality standards to minimize redraws and rejected samples

• Experience with Quest Diagnostics laboratory processing is strongly preferred

• Help clients in and out of hyperbaric

• Prepare and constitute peptides

• Tracks and requests laboratory and office supplies needed to fulfill duties

• Greets clients and assists with client intake/services

• Provides site specific procedural training to new employees

• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; follow Universal Precautions and OSHA standards when handling specimens.

• Strictly adheres to HIPAA regulations

• Performs additional job duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

• IV therapy certification 

• Computer and technology proficient

• Valid driver’s license 

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background check

• A proven ability to handle ambiguity in the absence of defined systems and processes

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK CONDITIONS

• Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds

• Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time and bend, stretch, and stoop

• Frequently required to use hand dexterity for use of standard office and clinical equipment

• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, and/or extended hours as Company dictates

• Frequent exposure to blood and bodily fluids, communicable diseases, chemicals, radiation, and repetitive motions

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Beyond Wellness is a Wellness Center in Costa Mesa, CA. Beyond Wellness will provide peptides, hormone therapy along with weight loss injections. Beyond Wellness will also offer IV therapy along with access to a hyperbaric chamber.
