Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs accurately, and create tailored treatment plans that address individual concerns.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients.

  • Collaborate with other professionals in the clinic to ensure clients receive holistic care that considers their overall well-being.

  • Provide crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress, demonstrating expertise in managing urgent mental health situations effectively.

  • Engage in community outreach projects and educational programs that promote mental health awareness, aiming to reduce stigma and educate the public on mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

  • A fully independent and active license in California as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients from various walks of life.

  • A strong sense of cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively support clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, along with a commitment to maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.

  • Prior experience in a community health setting or similar environment is highly desirable, allowing for familiarity with diverse client populations and complex cases.
