Most kitchen managers work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ours runs a Monday-to-Friday operation that prepares thousands   of school meals every day, and keeps a full salary through school breaks. As Kitchen Production Manager, you'll lead our Phoenix production team, own scheduling, quality, and USDA compliance, and report directly to the Regional Director and VP of Operations. • Salary: $58,240–$64,480 per year (exempt)
• Year-round pay: Paid through school breaks, which are used for training, planning, and inventory
• Schedule: Monday to Friday. No weekends. Hours vary depending on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Lead and schedule a production team of up to 20, assigning stations and adjusting workflow to hit daily targets.
• Interview candidates, coach performance, and partner with HR on reviews and corrective action.
• Approve ADP timecards and track attendance and schedule adherence.
• Run Health-e Pro: generate meal tags, submit daily orders, and verify school quantities with the Usage Report.
• Oversee quality, portioning, allergy accuracy, HACCP, and USDA meal-pattern compliance.
• Develop and manage the production kitchen budget and find cost savings without compromising safety or quality.
• Keep team certifications current and recommend process improvements to leadership.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of kitchen or food-service leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing a production team of 20+, including interviewing, hiring, and corrective action.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Proficiency in Health-e Pro and ADP, or comparable production and timekeeping systems.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergy protocols, plus experience managing to a budget.
• Preferred: 5+ years of progressive leadership, training-development experience, Spanish bilingual, IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, valid AZ driver's license, forklift certification.
