Dedicated APP support. General GI roles are heavily outpatient and can expect an 80/20 split, with 80% lab/ procedures and 20% clinic. Physicians are able to be as clinically productive as they want. GI Hospitalists can expect a traditional 7on/7off schedule and cover most of the call burden. Hospitalists can see about 40 weeks of call per year.
