Maintenance Group Leader

Maintenance Group Leader Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and support maintenance mechanics on shift while assigning and tracking daily work Partner with plant leadership on maintenance planning, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, repairs, equipment installation, and preventative maintenance Interpret and modify blueprints and schematics to support equipment reliability and upgrades Manage and report on work orders, maintenance projects, and equipment performance Promote and enforce safety standards, GMP compliance, and food quality requirements Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency Maintenance Group Leader Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical skills including welding, hydraulics, drive systems, and equipment repair Proven ability to lead or mentor a team in a maintenance or production setting Experience using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and interpreting technical manuals Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics Ability to work on site in Rochester NY. Salary is based on experience $33/hour - $37/hour plus an excellent full benefit package and growth opportunity.
