Phlebotomist - Rover

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions and is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Dupont Blvd in Georgetown, DE. Work Schedule: Monday & Friday 6:00am – 12:00pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:00am – 12:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am – 2:00pm Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the data system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work at a Patient Service Center or client office as required. Be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which may provide a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Certification or training must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
