Job Title Workplace Ambassador Job Description Summary The Ambassador is a key member of the Cushman & Wakefield onsite account team for the client. This individual is part of a broader Workplace Experience team that aims to ensure employees feel productive, engaged, and well supported in the workplace, and that they can thrive in a dynamic environment. The Ambassador, acting as the first line of response for all employee questions and needs, will also be responsible for ensuring daily space readiness, so employees can be productive without challenges. The Ambassador will function as the “eyes and ears” of the workplace - proactively identifying and solving issues before they pose a challenge to an employee. They will provide high-level audio-visual services, troubleshooting and support, and ensure spaces are appropriately prepared for use. The Ambassador will support customer inquiries and complaints, schedule vendors as needed, and follow-up with customers to ensure high customer satisfaction. We are looking for a highly collaborative self-starter who enjoys solving problems, has fantastic communication skills, and can bring an elevated customer experience to employees and visitors in the workplace environment. Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES Provide a warm welcome to all employees and guests, leaving them with a positive and professional first impression Help educate employees and visitors on equipment, processes, space use, workplace protocols, and etiquette Act as the first line of response to user question and troubleshoot issues. Ensure complaints, questions, concerns, and suggestions from employees are addressed and conduct follow-up, if needed Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with end users and cross functional colleagues. Follow escalation protocols, having all required knowledge of cross functional teams’ responsibilities Regularly assess space readiness, ensuring workspaces, conference rooms, and offices are properly equipped and employee ready Address all incoming requests from business units on conference services related support at multiple locations using various scheduling programs Collaborate with Corporate Physical Security to align security protocols for employees and visitors in the workspace with building security policies Function as the “eyes and ears” of the workspace and proactively submit work orders for building maintenance needs, repairs, broken or missing furniture before an end user is impacted. Ensure issues are resolved appropriately Meet and escort vendors for facility repairs, maintenance, or testing Collaborate with Facilities, IT, janitorial, and catering to provide wholistic support to employees for conference services related support at multiple locations Act as designated Safety Officer in the event of building emergencies directing and leading employees through developed emergency procedures in collaboration with building procedures Obtain voice of the customer data (quantitative and qualitative) to capture service needs. May be required to travel outside in varying weather conditions. Ability to assist setting/resetting meeting room and collaboration area furniture. Monitor supply inventories and order as needed. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
